Buying tyres online
Tyroola Tyres is an official Tyroola online store. We list 18,333 tyres for passenger cars, 4x4s and SUVs, utes and vans, trucks and motorcycles, from 123 brands. Every price is per tyre and includes GST, so the number you compare is the number you pay for the tyre.
Your tyre size is printed on the sidewall, for example 205/55R16 91V, and on the tyre placard inside the driver's door frame. Search by that size and you see every tyre that fits it, with the load index and speed rating for each one. Your placard sets the minimum ratings: replacements must match or exceed them.
Most sizes have options at several price points. Premium ranges from brands such as Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli and Continental usually focus on wet braking, quietness and tread life. Value brands cost less up front and suit drivers with modest needs. We show them together so you can weigh price against what you actually drive: daily commuting, highway kilometres, towing, gravel or off-road tracks.
At checkout, choose delivery to your address or send your tyres to a Tyroola fitting partner. Fitting partners operate nationwide and fit and balance your new tyres. Popular choices: 4x4 and SUV tyres, all terrain tyres, car tyres and ute and van tyres.
Yes. Tyroola Tyres is an official Tyroola online store, selling tyres for delivery across Australia and fitting through Tyroola fitting partners.
Yes. Choose a Tyroola fitting partner near you at checkout and your tyres are sent there. The partner fits and balances them, so you only need to bring the car in. You can also have tyres delivered to your own address.
Read the size on the sidewall of your current tyres, such as 265/65R17 112T, or check the tyre placard inside the driver's door frame. The placard also lists the minimum load index and speed rating your vehicle needs. Search by size on this page to see every tyre that fits.
Yes. Every price is per tyre, in Australian dollars, and includes GST. A set of four is shown on each tyre's page.
Tyres on the same axle should match in size, construction and tread pattern. Many drivers replace all four on 4x4s and all-wheel-drive cars, where the drivetrain is sensitive to differences in tread depth. If you replace two, the usual advice is to fit the new pair on the rear axle for stability.
The legal minimum is 1.5 mm of tread across the main grooves, which is where the tread wear indicators sit. Grip in the wet drops well before that point, so many drivers replace tyres at around 3 mm, especially on cars that see a lot of rain or highway driving.
A tyre sold in Australia must meet the load index and speed rating marked on it. Cheaper tyres can be a sensible choice for lighter, lower-mileage driving. Premium tyres often stop shorter in the wet and last longer, which matters more for heavy vehicles, towing and long highway trips. Compare both in your size before you decide.
