About the Hankook Kinergy ECO2
The Hankook Kinergy ECO2 is a summer road tyre for everyday driving in small cars, hatchbacks, compact sedans and other passenger vehicles that use its available sizes. It is suited to commuting, urban streets, country roads and highway travel, with a tread design focused on handling and braking in wet conditions. The range includes 34 Hankook products, priced from $82 to $232 per tyre, including GST in AUD. Hankook's design uses wide lateral grooves in the inner tread blocks to help resist aquaplaning. Three main grooves and wide outer grooves channel water away from the contact patch, supporting wet-road traction and braking. Aqua-edge technology and an optimised chamfer help the contact area widen during braking, while the precisely designed block sizes help reduce road noise. Tyroola lists the Kinergy ECO2 in the sizes shown, including 165/60R14, 175/70R14 and 205/60R16.
