Hilo Sport XV1

The Hilo Sport XV1 is a summer road tyre for drivers who want responsive handling for everyday driving. It suits passenger cars, SUVs and some 4WDs, depending on the selected size and specification. The tread is intended for sealed roads, including daily commuting, longer highway trips and performance-focused road driving. It is not designed for off-road use, and its summer construction may provide limited performance in winter conditions.

Its design combines reinforced shoulder blocks for cornering stability with four longitudinal grooves to move water away from the contact area. A silica-enhanced compound supports wet braking and traction, while the tread pattern and pitch arrangement are designed to reduce noise. The tread also uses a wide contact area and zigzag groove design to support road contact and manoeuvrability. Tyroola Tyres lists 64 Hilo Sport XV1 products from $82 to $164 per tyre, including GST, with summer and performance applications.
