Nankang SP 9

The Nankang SP 9 is a touring tyre designed for SUVs, CUVs and suitable passenger vehicles used mainly on sealed roads. Nankang positions it for town and city driving, with a focus on comfortable, quiet performance. Its M+S marking supports use throughout the year, but drivers should choose a size and specification that matches the vehicle manufacturer's requirements.

The tread uses four wide circumferential grooves to help move water away from the contact patch, while angled tread blocks and sipes support wet-road grip and handling. A centre rib is designed to promote stable straight-line handling, and the tread pitch arrangement helps reduce road noise. Tyroola Tyres lists 54 Nankang SP 9 products, from $141 to $361 per tyre, including GST. Listed sizes include 155/60R17, 195/60R17, 205/60R13, 205/60R14, 205/70R16, 215/50R18, 215/55R18, 215/65R16, 215/65R17, 215/70R16, 225/50R18 and 225/55R18.
