About the Michelin Pilot Sport 5
Michelin Pilot Sport 5 is a performance summer road tyre for drivers who want precise steering, strong grip and confident braking on dry and wet roads. It suits sporty hatchbacks, sedans, coupes and premium vehicles used mainly on sealed roads. It is also suitable for electric vehicles where the selected size and specification meet the vehicle maker's requirements. The tread is intended for responsive everyday driving, spirited cornering and highway use, rather than snow or winter conditions.
Michelin uses Dynamic Response Technology to help transmit steering inputs to the road for responsive handling. Its Dual Sport Tread Design combines wide longitudinal grooves on the inner area to help clear water with rigid outer tread blocks for dry-road grip. MaxTouch construction spreads acceleration, braking and cornering forces across the contact patch to support even wear and lasting performance. Tyroola lists 64 Michelin Pilot Sport 5 products, from $216 to $771 per tyre, including GST. Available catalogue sizes include 255/40R20, 225/45R18, 255/35R19, 255/40R18, 225/40R19, 245/45R19, 255/35R21, 205/40R17, 205/45R17, 215/40R17, 215/40R18 and 215/45R17.
